One Margarita, Two Margarita, Three Margarita, FLOOR!
It's pretty clear that margaritas are the unofficial official drink of Austin and I am NOT upset about that. Y'all know that I am a tequila girl so I loooove me a solid margarita. Whether it's frozen or on the rocks, classic or with a twist, put a margarita in my hand and everything will be alright alright.
I asked you guys earlier where to find the best margaritas in Austin and so here it is! Drumroll please... Austin's 15 BEST Margaritas!
Grizzelda's
At Grizzelda's they offer some pretty tasty versions of the classic margarita and they even have a whole section dedicated to Margaritas on their drinks menu. The Grizz Mizz is their house margarita on the rocks and it's my go-to whenever I visit!

Trudy's Tex Mex
I was a frequent flyer to Trudy's in college whenever I took a test and needed a drink and still visit whenever I get the chance. Their House Margaritas are only $4 during happy hour! Pro-tip: if you need a stronger tequila, you can upgrade your margarita with $2 top shelf tequila ;)

The Peached Tortilla
The Margarita de Peached has habenero-infused tequila, which definitely ads a kick! Don't be afraid though, because this drink is actually super addicting. Trust me

Licha's Cantina
Another place with a solid house margarita for only $8 and only $5 during happy hour. Licha's also has a solid patio to enjoy these bad boys on and on a nice summer day, what more could you ask for? They also have a variety of cocktails with mezcal and tequila if that's more of your style
Shady Grove
Beautiful nice summer day and craving a margarita? Head on over to Shady Grove! Their patio is the perfect place to enjoy a frozen margarita. Their frozen house margarita is great, but their Wat-A-Rita, made with fresh watermelon juice, is where it's at in my opinion.
Contigo
The Frozen Margarita at Contigo is simple, yet delicious! They also boast one of the best patios in Austin to enjoy a frozen margarita on. Grab your buds and head on over for great food, great booze, and great vibes.

Matt's El Rancho
Matt's El Rancho belongs on this my list for the best places to find a margarita because this restaurant is one of the oldest Tex-Mex establishments in Austin. They've been serving up margaritas alongside delicious Tex-Mex dishes since 1952! Don't forget the Bob Armstrong dip!

Guero's Taco Bar
Take a stroll along historic South Congress and you'll find Guero's Taco Bar. They are devoted to margaritas - the margarita section on their drinks menu has something for everyone! Show up to happy hour and margaritas are $2 off.

Iron Cactus
In case you haven't noticed, Iron Cactus has a Margarita Bar. That's right, a bar for margaritas. They have so many varieties, but you honestly can't go wrong with any margarita that suits your fancy

Gabriela's Downtown
This family owned and operated restaurant sits right next to downtown off E 7th street. Here you can have their house margarita, a margarita flight, or even a pitcher! I recommend you try Gabriela's margarita made with tamarind and served with a chili powder rim

Takoba
Welcome back to the neighborhood, Takoba! This recently re-opened Austin restaurant is back with their delicious margaritas that you can enjoy out on the terrace on a sunny day in the city

Baby A's
Don't act like y'all didn't think that the famous Purple Rita from Baby A's wouldn't close out my list. Fair warning, this guy is not for the faint of heart. Did I forget to mention that they limit each customer to 2 of these bad boys?! Be responsible and take an Uber/Lyft
Did I miss your favorite margarita in Austin? Drop me a comment fam!
With love,
Jin
